There are a total of 11 sec 2 swimmers, 10 sec 1s and 2 sec 3s in 2008.
Secondary One Orientation 2009
When: 2/5/6 January 2009 (probably)
Where: Shaw Hall booth
What: Presentation - speech, video/powerpoint, signing up, showcasing our equipments etc.
Who: From the Swim Team to the Secondary Ones of 2009
Why: To recruit (potentially strong) swimmers

- multimedia

- Get photos and take videos of us during normal training sessions, (work closely with Julia/Sarah + get from Facebook as well?) etc
- Choose songs to go with the ppt and perhaps video if you guys are making one.

- People I/Cs might want to talk to Mrs B about the budget $$$ to spend on Orientation if need be. (** Do you want to use the current Swim Banner or make another one which can be used in future as well?)
- From there, you guys can decide what can be bought for decoration of the booths, etc. and remember to spend the $$ wisely.
And the rest, I'll leave it to the 2 leaders (Raeanne and Eunice) to decide as an entire commitee.
OTHER DETAILS - DRESS CODE: wear flippers and walk around + cca shirt + dark-coloured shorts/FBTs (preferably)
IDEAS- Cardboard figurines (used during Open House)
- Gift ideas - Postcards with Swimming pictures? Lollipops? Bookmarks?
- Showcase our swimsuits (Swim/Sync) + Equipment (flippers/noseclips etc) + Achievements
POINTS TO NOTE- To eradicate the mentality of swimming as being a tiring CCA/tough trainings/all work and no play etc.
- We want them to see us as a fun and bonded CCA
- We don't want them, especially primary school's swimmers, to think that swimming in the secondary division is the same as primary's = train and train and no fun and no bonding... (Get as many Primary School swimmers as possible)
